Equine Hospital and Stable

This equine hospital and stable structure reclaims an existing, perimeter concrete wall from an old facility that was lost in a fire. The roofs are raised, and the interior space adds an abundance of light and ventilation. The barn design includes heavy timbers, large bolt connections, a metal roof and wood siding. The project reflects a vernacular with a contemporary flair. David Bradford, AIA, was principal-in-charge while at 310 Architecture + Interiors. Photography by Sterling Stevens.
